Olive Leaf Beginnings
Olive Leaf Beginnings is a mission to usher men and women into a new level of faith, glory, and hope. in the book of Genesis 8:11 (NKJV) the lesson reads, “then the dove came to him (Noah) in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.” Noah released a dove to see if it was safe to leave the ark after the flood. When the dove returned with an olive leaf in its mouth, Noah knew that the flooding was over and it was a time of new beginnings. The dove represents courage to step away from the known to observe the unknown. the dove gives us an example of stretching outside of our comfort zone but coming back to the place that we left to share our experience with those who were unable to experience what we did. When the dove returned with the olive leaf in its mouth it was a sign that “all is well”. It was a prophetic declaration that this is a new day, the old experience is over, come out to see and experience a new beginning.
